Web tasks run in a cloud browser Melvin operates, so forms, searches and bookings happen without touching your own browser. One run can start in Mail and finish on a web form.
Runs again on a schedule
Save a run and Melvin repeats it with the same context: daily, every weekday or weekly, at a time you pick. The report that is due every Tuesday gets done every Tuesday.

It never takes over your screen
Melvin works without bringing apps to the front or moving your cursor, so you keep typing while it runs. Agents that drive the screen by clicking pixels need the screen to themselves.

Leaderboard agents are scored on doing a task once. Melvin saves the run and does it again on a schedule, without you at the keyboard.

The team behind Melvin
We started Melvin Laboratory in 2026 because the tools that were supposed to save us time made us type more, not less. Melvin is the assistant we wished we had: one that does the work, not just talks about it.
The team is two people who build, ship and answer support themselves, shipping every week. The goal is an agent you do not have to prompt at all, and we would rather say that out loud and be measured against it.

You give one instruction. Melvin reads first and changes second, anything reversible just runs, and anything that cannot be undone waits for your confirmation. Every run lands in history so you can check what it did.
