After a one-time connect under Settings → Your apps: catch up in Slack, post (asks first), find and edit Docs sections (writes ask first).

Why teams pick Melvin
Most assistants stop at chat. Melvin opens Mail, drafts the reply, holds the calendar block, and works the open Chrome tab — not a chat box that stops at suggestions. Slack and Docs join after you connect them; Melvin does not pretend to drive every app.
Automation and most context collection run on your Mac. Model requests, authenticated web search, and connected Gmail requests use their documented cloud services; Melvin sends the minimum task context needed for each request.
